The Advent Fishers District Association (AFDA), a newly organized district in Northern iloilo, won 40 souls for Christ through baptism during its VOY evangelistic campaign last May 10-16 in Tacbuyan, Estancia, Iloilo. This comes as very historic as baptizing as many as 40 becomes unprecedented in the district, particularly a baptism of that number as a result of an evangelistic campaign conducted just in one place.
"Embracing a holistic health message, the Seventh-day Adventists emphasize not only the spiritual message but the physical well-being of a person as well," Glenn Maypa, former Health Director and now WVC's Philanthropic Services Director, said at the opening program of the medical, dental, and surgical mission in Malayu-an, Ajuy last Sunday, May 31. Almost 200 came to receive free dental, medical, surgical services, and medicines through the sponsorship of Wenna Diesto, a native of the place but now works in Worcester, England as a rehabilitation support worker.More Articles...
